最近では、人々が移民していく場合、日光とか植物、あるいは召使い を求めていくというわけではない。

Aruiwa simply put is a Conjunction.

1. A word used to connect clauses or sentences or to coordinate words in the same clause.

2. The action or an instance of two or more events or things occurring at the same point in time or space.
