Examples:

この大学では２学期制に変えるべく今準備が進められている。

At this university, preparation is under way for changing (the current system) to a semester system.

K社は事件費を削減すべく大規模なリストラを行う予定だ。

K company plans to execute large-scale restructuring in order to reduce personnel expenses.

当社はいち早くお客様の多様なニーズに対応すべく、最新の設備を導入してまいりました。

We (our company) have installed the newest facilities so that we can quickly respond to our customers various needs.
